A Vendor Manager, or Procurement Manager, represents our organization to vendors. The person in this position finds qualified distributors to meet our company’s needs and negotiates contracts for services and/or supplies. They are also responsible for quality control and timely delivery of resources. 1. Negotiating contracts with Vendors 2. Assessing the performance of vendors 3. Maintaining sufficient inventory 4. Routing supplies to appropriate departments 5. Ensuring vendor compliance with company standards 6. Managing vendor billing and disbursements 7. Recruiting and training additional vendors 8. Posting And Creating Awareness on Social Media to attract prospect Vendors & Delivery Personnels
